Sara Ali Khan, who is currently receiving praise for her performance in her latest release, ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’, recently engaged in a candid rapid-fire round during a recent interview with a media house. When questioned about her dating history with a co-actor, the actress responded with refreshing honesty, affirming a simple “yes.”
Furthermore, when prompted about her thoughts on Kartik Aaryan, whom she was previously linked with, Sara opted for a tactful response in an interview with Bollywood Hungama. Rather than delving into personal details, she cleverly associated him with his professional endeavors, citing the title of the franchise Kartik prominently features in “Bhool Bhulaiyaa.”
Sara also revealed her unique way of saving contacts on her phone. She affectionately saved her dad’s, Saif Ali Khan‘s, number under “Father.” Her brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan, requested a special nickname, so she listed him as “Iggy.” As for her stepmother, Kareena Kapoor Khan, her contact information remains unchanged in Sara’s phonebook.
Talking about a rumour she would like to start about herself, Sara, a self-proclaimed Ranveer Singh fan playfully said, “That I am doing all of Ranveer Singh’s films!”
Sara recently appeared on “Ae Watan Mere Watan,” which is now streaming. In the movie, she portrays the character of Usha Mehta, who played a significant role in India’s fight for independence. According to News18 Showsha’s review, Sara Ali Khan delivers a commendable performance in the film. She shines in various scenes, especially those involving her interactions with her father (played by Sachin Khedekar) and her aunt. In a particular sequence, Sara’s character, Usha, displays remarkable determination in protecting a transmitter from the police, captivating the audience’s attention. Although Sara’s performance is generally convincing, there are moments where she falls short in delivering the required intensity, especially in scenes demanding fiery passion.
During the conversation, Sara expressed her interest in portraying Indira Gandhi in a biopic. She mentioned that it would be a rewarding experience and something she would like to explore further.
Sara’s next gig includes lighting up the screen in Anurag Basu’s groove-tastic flick, “Metro In Dino.”
